On the 15th of January Elaine’s dad came in to talk to us about the army. His name is John Moylan and he is a soldier. He showed us pictures of tanks, helicopters and soilders. He brought a bullet proof vest, an army vest that can carry a lot of stuff,a mask and a bullet-proof helmet that was made from kevlar. He evenlet us try them on! The Bullet-proof vest was very heavy.
The last place he was in was Chad, he was there for 6 months. He has also been to Lebanon, Israel, Liberia, Sierra Leone and East Timor. He showed us how to do press-ups. Some people thought it was hard and others thought it was easy.
